Fishermen's Village

Just in the centre of Kaliningrad a light tower and some old style buildings stand tall at the side of the Pregolya river. It is called Fishermen’s Village and it is a modern construction built as a showcase of different architectural styles of Königsberg during the past centuries. One can find resemblance to the buildings of the historic Teutonic Order as well as époques of gothic, classicism, baroque, historicism and modernism.

The central building is the light tower which hosts an observation level for the public. I some of the lower buildings there are amongst other things a hotel and some places to eat.
